French Foliage in Triple TIme

I saw this card on The Stampin Schach awhile back and loved Ann's card so I cased it my way.

Ann used a little more texture than I did, but I love the way it came out.

Here is the inside of my card.

I am posting the edge to show you the Triple edges

It looks harder than it is. I am playing around with doing a tutorial, what do you think?

Now on to the supplies:

Card Stock                                 Cajun Craze, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla
Stampin Ink                                Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Early Expresso
                                                   and Crumb Cake
Ribbon                                       Always Artichoke seam binding
Marker                                       Cajun craze, Soft suede
Stamp Set                                  French Foliage
Accessories                               Spritzer Tool and Antique Brads

As you can tell there is not allot of supplies needed. You cut your sizes, stamp them and mat them, add Bling.  I will post a tutorial and will let you know when it is done. I am waiting on my order to do a Christmas one for Thanksgiving.

A Little Trick or Treat going on here!

I got my Stampin Up order and my Halloween Kit. I decided I wanted to put it together,  now I want everyone to know, sometimes I need a little help with things, because my hands give out and it is so nice that my sister is not only my up line but my best friend as well. She had to listen to me all weekend.  So I am giving her a great big Thank YOU!!( I made her Zucchini Bread).

Now on to my Howl-o-ween Kit, the hardiest for me was the Rosettes(haven't made one in awhile) and finding a picture. With my move, I have given my children so many of them. But! I found this one of my son(who is now in his 30's) when he was about 10yrs old.  I hope he will forgive me.

I added a few things to it, I love to add extra bling and if you look real close, I think there are some googlies eyes.

Here is my version.

I hope you enjoy.

It's Time for Late Night Stampers Fall Treasure Hunt

LATE NIGHT STAMPERS' WEB RING'S
FALL TREASURE HUNT
From now until October 31st
Hello!  Are you ready to have some fun while checking out some of the best Stampin' Up! Demonstrator's blogs AND have a chance to win a FREE Stampin' Up! product. I am a member of a fun group of SU! Demos called the Late Night Stampers. From August 20th thru Octocber 31st there is a Treasure Hunt going on.  Basically, the Treasure Hunt is a BIG ol' blog hop to search for clues.

Come join in the FUN and participate in our Fall Treasure Hunt!
Here is what you need to do.

  • I have a page titled Late Night Stampers Web Ring (at the top). This is a list of the Late Night Stampers Web Ring members (and SU! demonstrators).

  • When you click on a name, it will take you to that person's blog.

  • Check out each blog (you may have to go back several postings) to find their clue. Not every member of the web ring will have a clue.
  • When you see the picture shown above you will know they are participating in this Treasure Hunt, and they will have a clue on their page.
  • When you find a clue, be sure to write the blog name AND the clue down.
  •  When you have found 50  clues send me a list (at jackielwatson2009@hotmail.com) of what you found and I will put your name in the drawing.
  • The Treasure Hunt runs from now until October 31st, so come back often as everyone will be posting their clue at different times.
  • I will announce my winner on November 1st.

Here is My Clue: Lacy and Lovely
As my thanks to you for participating in the Treasure Hunt, I will be giving away a stamp set from Stampin' Up for my winner.
In addition, your name will be put into a drawing for a chance to win $150 in products from Stampin' Up! from Sherrill Graff.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for playing along with the Treasure Hunt.  Happy Hunting!!!

IT'S A BLUE CHRISTMAS

I saw within the last year a beautiful card on pinterest that Amy Sheffer from http://pickledpaperdesigns.blogspot.com/ had posted and you guessed I cased it.!  I love non traditional cards, they are so Vintage!!!  I love Christmas and everything that goes with it.

Here is Amy version: Isn't is just gorgeous? Thanks Amy.

Now here is my version:

I changed a few things to make it work for me. My biggest problem has been the ribbon. I just couldn't find what I wanted. So I chose to put nothing. What do you think?  The  more I look at the card the more I think it needs something.  Don't be surprised if I change it again and re-post.

Supplies used:
Framelits                              Labels Collection, Itty Bitty Banner and Holiday Ornament
Punch                                    Scallop Edge Border
Embossing Folder                 Houndstooth Folder
Stamp Set                              Joyous Celebration
Card Stock                            Whisper White, Crumb Cake and Pacific Point
Stamping Ink                          Pacific Point
Stamping Marker                   Pacific Point, Crumb Cake

I also used Designer Series Paper, Simply scored for the design on the labels, Spritzer Tool, All Purpose Ink(Champagne Mist) and of course lots of Pearls!!! I colored them with the Pacific Point Marker, and left one Big one in the middle of the Snowflake. Oh for curious minds the top of the Christmas bulb has a small piece of SU Twine that I painted on top of it to make them match.

I hope you have enjoyed you time here today, please leave me a comment, I so do enjoy reading them.
