Aprils Monthly Swap and TJN 1 on 1

I just loved this technique so much I used it for both my monthly swap and TJN 1 on 1. I used a technique from Feb 2010 issue called Glassy Embossing. I painted an Su embossing folder with Versa Mark and the put in designer paper and ran it through Big Shot. Then put UTTEE on designer paper and then embossed with heat tool. When it dries the paper has a glassy look. Stamp set is SU Wonder Words.

My Sisters Corner April

This is just plain gorgeous. My sister is so creative and this project is simple. She used SU designer paper and Top Note by Sizzix. Cardstock and ribbon is SU as well.

March's TJN 1 on 1

I love vintage and this card has it all, the look of lace, flowers and the colors are one of my favorites. This technique is from Aprils 2010 Technique Junkie Newsletter.

TJ 1 on 1 for March 2

I decided to add a few flowers to the inside with a message. Stampset is Asian Artistery, and SU Well Scripted.

TJ 1 on 1 for March

I also do a monthly swap with Technique Junkie and this month was using a new technique called Dabbed Shimmers. This was quick and easy to do. Just make a line of Shimmer paint(I used champaign mist from SU) add 2-3 drops of one re-inker on one side and add 2-3 drops of 2nd re-inker and then spray with water(not alot of mist) and take a sponge and dabbed into the darker re-inker onto your cardstock using a twisting motion, then do the same with the lighter re-inker let dry and then you can use as is or use a bigshot template. Stamp set is from Su. I had alot of fun and will use this again.

March's make and take

I loved this card, so easy to make. The stamp set I found out is a preview of the new line coming out. My picture does not due it justice. Enjoy

March monthly swap challenge

Our challenge was juvenile birthday card. I decided to use a SU stampset. I did the background with retired designer paper and ran it through my bigshot, added some ribbon, hardware and then for fun used crystal effects to make the shell hard and glisten. I only hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it.
