SU Stars November Blog Hop

This Month's blog hop is where we give  Gratitude/Thanks . I decided to do a Thanksgiving card. There are so many things that I am grateful for this year. Mostly my family, friends who have given me a lot of support.

If you came from Robin Messenheimers blog then you are in the right place. Wasn't her card just awesome. If not you can start at the beginning at  http://www.su-stars.blogspot.com/.

Here is my card:

Supplies:
Card Stock                           Cajun Craze, Natural Ivory, Crumb Cake
Stamp Set                             French Foliage
Ink                                        Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede
Markers                                Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Always Artichoke
Punch                                    Modern Label
Embossing Folder                Argyle
Accessories                         Bronze buttons, Line Thread and Big Shot

Directions:
Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 51/2 x 41/4 for the base, then cut a piece of Cajun Craze 51/4x 4, then cut a piece of Natural Ivory 5 x 37/8.
Then I placed the Natural Ivory in the  Argyle embossing folder and ran thru the Big Shot.
Next I sponged starting with light to dark. More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Chocolate Chip( to give a distress look)
Then I stamped the words down the left side using Chocolate Chip. Then I stamped the leaves random using Soft Suede.
Next I colored the leaves in using my markers with all the colors.
Then I stamped the water mark.
Assembled the pieces and tied Linen thread thru a Bronze button.

Your next stop on the hop will be to visit the very talented Dawn Hoffman and you can see what she has created for you here.

Thanks for stopping by. I love comments, so be sure to leave one. I hope you too find some time to create something fun for yourself...Enjoy!

French Foliage in Triple TIme

I saw this card on The Stampin Schach awhile back and loved Ann's card so I cased it my way.

Ann used a little more texture than I did, but I love the way it came out.

Here is the inside of my card.

I am posting the edge to show you the Triple edges

It looks harder than it is. I am playing around with doing a tutorial, what do you think?

Now on to the supplies:

Card Stock                                 Cajun Craze, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla
Stampin Ink                                Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Early Expresso
                                                   and Crumb Cake
Ribbon                                       Always Artichoke seam binding
Marker                                       Cajun craze, Soft suede
Stamp Set                                  French Foliage
Accessories                               Spritzer Tool and Antique Brads

As you can tell there is not allot of supplies needed. You cut your sizes, stamp them and mat them, add Bling.  I will post a tutorial and will let you know when it is done. I am waiting on my order to do a Christmas one for Thanksgiving.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog today. Won't you let me know what you think in today's comment? Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one.
