IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY FATHER

Dad and I last summer

My father, Raymond J Davy,  passed away yesterday Friday the 13th, 2012, during the day. He had survived the depression, World War II, many surgeries, especially to the heart, but sometime in the afternoon his heart just gave out. He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Watson, Brenda Hugar and his only son James Kelly and his last surviving brother of 12 Glen Davy. Our mother had passed away a few years ago and I know they both are at peace now.  My father was a kind man, who lived long enough to see a great many changes in the world and the United States. He was World War II Veteran, father, husband, grandfather and great grandfather. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. When I think of my father I think of his warm smile and quick wit.  He loved to spin a good yarn, work in his workshop making birdhouses, tulips, he loved working with his hands and in his younger days go fishing.  Your family loves and misses you, and will always keep you in our hearts.

There will be no showing or serves, my father and stepmother had it in there wills to be cremated and buried together in Marion at the Military cemetery.  If you want to contact me send me an email to jackielwatson2009@hotmail.com.
